Hello, hello, hello, dear reader. Welcome to my pocket dimension.
I'm Jamey, also known as Fawfulthegreat64, and on this lovely little page you will find links to many of the places at which I exist. Feel free to scroll down, check out the links & current sections, and remember this is always a WIP ~ 💜

I'm a 31 year old nonbinary autistic disaster. The Mario franchise is my biggest hyperfixation, especially the 2000s Mario RPGs. My favorite game of all time is Super Paper Mario. I've been pushing for Mario RPG representation in the spinoff rosters since 2013 and I have no intention of stopping anytime soon! Let's get the likes of Fawful, Vivian, Geno, & Dimentio into Mario Kart!

Aside from Mario, I'm also a fan of a lot of animated franchises such as The Brave Little Toaster, SpongeBob SquarePants, Gravity Falls and The Owl House. I'm also fond of Illumination's Mario film, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, and look forward to its upcoming sequel,The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.

Here you will find a selection of my art. This includes traditional drawings, 2D digital art, models, and renders. Click one to be taken to its original source (or a place to view it in full). More recent pieces will be towards the top. Note that this is not an exhaustive selection, and things like uncolored traditional drawings are low priority, so they will only appear when there is little else to pull from that time period.

2025

The Switch 2 arrived this year, and with it a new Mario Kart game to push for better roster representation in (and have it once again not happen because we continue to be drowned out by the people that just wish we'd shut up and accept it will never happen). As soon as the game was teased I began putting together an ambitious roster mockup that represents what I think Mario Kart should strive for. I also made some custom Mario Kart renders, new custom models for Mindy and the newly-canon Baby Waluigi, and various other renders. There's also a TOK-styled Koopatrol.

2024

The TTYD remake released this year, and I visited New York City for the first time to attend its launch celebration at Nintendo NY. But somehow that wasn't the end of the Mario RPG fans' feasting because only a month later THE MARIO & LUIGI SERIES RETURNED. Man, the end of the Switch 1 era was just Nintendo shoving an entire generation's worth of Mario RPGs down our throats right at the end. I ultimately went back to NYC for Brothership's launch event too, and of course I continued making Paper Mario style art, renders, and even my final submissions to the old, abandoned wasteland once known as VGBoxArt before it finally went offline as 2025 began.

2023

The year of The Super Mario Bros. Movie, and also the year I made this little website! Not only that, but this year was an EXTRAVAGANZA for Mario fans, especially RPG ones like me, because after they had seemed dead or content being nothing like themselves for so long it seemed impossible for things to go back to normal, we got a remake of Super Mario RPG, and then when that announcement was still hot off the grill and the game wasn't even out yet, they followed up with a TTYD REMAKE ANNOUNCEMENT. The hype was legendary. I made a batch of TTYD style HD sprites this year, a few more 3D models including a new Fawful and Mira Nova from Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, and a Paper Mario themed Christmas scene.

2022

This year began with me releasing my first Mario Kart mod: Fawful for Mario Kart DS. I also made a Mario Kart 8 Deluxe mod with him shortly after, with a new model of his second Superstar Saga form. Other models that I put out this year include Dimentio, Mimi, and a few more Brave Little Toaster characters. The first look at The Super Mario Bros. Movie came this year and that was super exciting. I also remembered Mindy from the original SpongeBob movie & how much I loved her as a kid.

2021

This and the next year were kind of slow in the Mario fandom IMO. I did a lot more 3D work this year, finally dipping my toes into models of characters with more organic & natural shapes. I made my first attempts at a Fawful model this year, a couple unique Toads and some Brave Little Toaster characters. I also discovered & binged The Owl House (up to the season 2 hiatus which was ongoing at the time).

2020

This is the year I publicly came out as trans. In a surprising twist, especially given my ancient history on the site, I was also promoted to moderator on MarioBoards. I went hard on Paper Mario styled art this year, with this only being elevated upon the announcement of Paper Mario: The Origami King. In terms of 3D I didn't do that much other than a few NakNak models. I grew up with those toys and was always fascinated with the rare/unreleased ones. It still breaks my heart that the uniquely shaped ones teased in the manuals would never see a release due to Hasbro discontinuing the brand. Those models were pretty simple to make and allowed me to use Illustrator for their 2D sticker art, so they were fun.

2019

A lot happened this year. The class I was taking moved into 3D modeling, which opened up a whole new world for me. Previously I was only able to work with existing models (with the exception of my awful attempts at modeling in Sketchup in 2016), and while my earliest projects, both class assignments, were very jank in their own right, they taught me great strategies for 3D modeling & setting up reference images, which would open the door to my future improvements in 3D modeling. There's of course a healthy amount of 2D projects here too. And to top off the year, starting around November is when I began exploring my gender identity.

2018

This year was one of significant improvement artistically in my opinion. I went back to school as an adult student, and despite the class actually turning out pretty similar to the one I took in high school, it helped me refine the skills I had only been a novice at back then & had been self-teaching since. I learned a bunch of tricks & strategies to get more out of the programs I'd been using, and I was also introduced to Illustrator which quickly gave me a much better workflow than the one I had been using in Inkscape for my previous vector art. That transition happened between Flavio and Dimentio, and I think it was pretty seamless in terms of visual output.

2017

This was the year my Fawful mascot finally started resembling how it looks today. I was also unbanned from MarioBoards this year, so I was pretty active there. Super Mario Odyssey & the Superstar Saga remake seemed to mark a new renaissance for the Mario series, which had been bland and sanitized for a while.

2016

This year was an EXPLOSION in activity on DeviantArt. I made so much art in Inkscape, from Mario to Toaster to Wreck-it Ralph. I was also huge into Super Mario Maker throughout this year, and I also discovered that I am quite fond of yuri.

2015

This year fared a bit better than 2014. By this point I was finally living on my own for the first time. I made a fake leak that went a bit viral. And then I got banned from MarioBoards. That was a blow that hurt a lot as it was my primary forum of choice then. But there was plenty of inspiration for my art anyway. I rediscovered The Brave Little Toaster from my childhood, and Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam appeared, teasing me with a very good idea that was executed in the lamest way imaginable. At least it got my creative juices flowing, though my art still left a lot to be desired.

2014

This was a pretty barren year. I was extremely active on MarioBoards & GameFAQs but most of it was me desperately trying to distract myself from a traumatizing heartbreak that happened at the beginning of the year. In terms of art, not much was posted online. If I could characterize this year with one word, it would be "pain."

2013

The year I turned 18. The first year I had no school to occupy my attention, so I didn't know what to do with myself. I joined MarioBoards and became a terminal poster there, did a lot of sloppy Photoshopped renders, and made more stuff for VGBoxArt. I regret so much from this year, not so much what I did but what I DIDN'T do. I took a very special part of my life for granted, and it would cost me dearly the following year.

2012

So much happened this year. At the beginning, I was exactly where I wanted to be. But the powers that be had other plans. I continued using Photoshop at school as my junior year concluded and my senior year began. In my senior year I made a lot of Photoshop stuff for assignments, so those are included here. Outside that, it's mostly VGBoxArt stuff again. And a random MSPaint Dimentio that I guess I made when I didn't have access to Photoshop. My strange sense of humor is on big display here.

More coming soon...
